- Any Scouts bringing a medication to camp activities must bring this form with them.
- Troop 542 Fact Book
- This document provides an overview of the entire Troop program, including: packing lists, contact information for leadership, uniform details, and advancement information. New families should use this as a guidebook to get them started in Troop 542. Current families should return to this as a reference for all things Troop.
- Troop Scoutership Application – Fillable
- Troop 542 believes that every boy deserves to be a Boy Scout. Families should never allow financial hardship to prevent their son from participating in our program. We have funds available for any Scout in financial need to assist with trips, uniforms, or program materials and equipment. This application should be submitted to a member of the selection team (contact info listed on the form); all information is kept private and confidential.
- Scoutmaster Conference Personal Growth Sheets
- Scouts must fill out a “Personal Growth Sheet (PGS)” prior to meeting with the Scoutmaster for a Scoutmaster Conference (SMC). You may fill in the pdf on your computer before printing or fill in by hand, but make sure to print ALL pages for the correct rank.

- Essentials of Merit Badge Counseling
- This PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes covers the required procedures for merit badge counseling, clarifies the role of counselors in the BSA advancement program, and discusses the appropriate approaches to use in working with Scouts. It is intended as an instructor-led presentation to counselors of any experience level and takes 60 to 90 minutes to complete.
